The Canadian Dream

Welcome to my blogspace.

I will be discussing the future of Canada in this space and I welcome feedback and input from other Canadians who are concerned about our country and the role we can play in transforming it into that place about which we have dreamed. Countless Canadians have told me about their shared collective dream which includes sustainable economic strength, social justice for all who live in Canada , and environmental responsibility.

I believe that the City of Guelph, Ontario can play an important role in transforming Canada into that dream and also in sharing the dream with people everywhere in the Global community. That is why I am seeking the nomination to replace our Liberal Member of Parliament Brenda Chamberlain who has announced her intention to retire from politics before the next Federal election. Our community has resources that can impact the world in many positive and lasting ways, and so does Canada. We merely need the right Plan based upon "an appropriate and compelling Vision."

Please read the essay set Building The Canadian Dream and help me to shape that dream into reality for us, our children and many generations to come. Life has taught me that this is a real possibility and that our beautiful dream of peace, economic strength, Justice with Compassion, and environmental solutions can be realized swiftly and effectively.

Peace.
